Football Recap: Lee's Summit Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Blue Springs South

Lee's Summit faced Blue Springs South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Jaguars, falling 31-7. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Jaguars since Friday.

Christian Dahn threw for 93 yards on seven of 16 attempts. Karsten Fiene was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards.

Ayden Wilhelm had an outrageously good game for Blue Springs South as he threw for 328 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 50 yards. Those 328 passing yards gave Wilhelm a new career-high. Blue Springs South's leading receiver Gary Hill was Wilhelm's top target yet again, picking up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown.
