Soccer Recap: New Waverly's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

New Waverly pushed their score to five the last time they played Navasota, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The New Waverly Bulldogs never let the Navasota Rattlers onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Maryn Cook had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Bulldogs.

The win made it two in a row for New Waverly and bumps their season record up to 7-4-1. As for Navasota, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Waverly will take on Harmony School of Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Waverly is facing Harmony School of Innovation at the right time seeing as Harmony School of Innovation is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Navasota, they will square off against Royal at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
