Baseball Recap: Watervliet's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Watervliet was forced to take a big loss against they on Thursday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish by a score of 5-1. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Fighting Irish on Thursday, they had to take a 13-3 defeat.

Cayden Ryan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Logan Eberhard, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
