Baseball Recap: Shady Side Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shady Side Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Riverside Panthers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Shady Side Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Wanless, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Shady Side Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Riverside, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Shady Side Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Riverside has already played their next match (against Burrell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
