Basketball Game Preview: Southlake Carroll Dragons vs. Richland Royals

The Southlake Carroll Dragons will square off against the Richland Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Southlake Carroll beat Chisholm Trail 40-32.

Meanwhile, Richland had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 71-62 victory over Saginaw.

Richland found their leader in sophomore Kole Dortch, who posted 20 points. CJ Williams was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Southlake Carroll beat Richland 61-51 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
