Basketball Game Preview: Coeur du Christ Academy Saints vs. Deary Mustangs

The Coeur du Christ Academy Saints will take on the Deary Mustangs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coeur du Christ Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, Coeur du Christ Academy humbled Kootenai with an 84-39 victory. The Saints have beaten the Warriors the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Ben Connelly was his usual excellent self, shooting 52% from the field en route to 35 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. The contest was his 18th in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Grant Clemens, who almost dropped a triple-double with 17 points, nine assists, and nine steals.

Meanwhile, Deary strolled past Clearwater Valley with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 42-28. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Coeur du Christ Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Deary, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
