It was a proper cat-fight when Cypress Lake took on Dunbar on Saturday. Cypress Lake was outmatched by Dunbar and fell 54-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Tigers since December 10, 2019.

Cypress Lake better keep an eye on Sydney Swanner. She was instrumental in Bonita Springs' win, going 10 of 15 en route to 21 points and three steals. Those 21 points gave Swanner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyleigh Weick, who posted eight points and seven steals.

Bonita Springs' win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Cypress Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Everything came up roses for Cypress Lake against Bonita Springs in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 54-24 victory. In that match, Cypress Lake amassed a halftime lead of 27-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
