Basketball Recap: Ridgemont Triumphs

Ridgemont hadn't done well against North Union recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Ridgemont Golden Gophers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the North Union Wildcats 69-66. For the Golden Gophers, this counts as revenge for the 57-42 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

As for North Union, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the North Union Wildcats face off against the Fairbanks Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairbanks will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something North Union surely won't give up without a fight.
