Basketball Recap: Yankton Comes Up Short

Yankton lost against Pierre T.F. Riggs back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yankton Bucks/Gazelles fell just short of the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors by a score of 49-47. The Bucks/Gazelles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Yankton's record is now 2-12. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Yankton will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stevens at 8:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, they will be playing at home against Huron on Tuesday.
