Soccer Recap: South Spencer Takes a Loss

South Spencer's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Mt. Vernon Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for South Spencer in their meetings with Mt. Vernon: they've now lost six in a row.

South Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mt. Vernon, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, South Spencer and Mt. Vernon will both be playing Boonville the next time they take the pitch. The Wildcats will host the Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Rebels will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
