Volleyball Recap: Madera South Stallions vs. Tulare Union The Tribe

Madera South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tulare Union The Tribe. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the The Tribe apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 23-25, 25-7.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tulare Union to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophia Cardoza, who had six kills, three blocks, and three aces. That's the most blocks Cardoza has posted since back in August.

Madera South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tulare Union, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.
