Coconino skates past Greenway with ease

Recap: Coconino Panthers vs. Greenway Demons
The Coconino Panthers's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They breezed by Greenway at home to the tune of 59-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Coconino also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Coconino's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aviana Scharfenberger, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Scharfenberger has scored at least 25% of Coconino's points. Autumn Larsen was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 9 rebounds.
The victory got Coconino back to even at 1-1. As for Greenway, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Coconino will head out on the road to face off against Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bradshaw Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
