Volleyball Recap: Sedan Comes Up Short

Sedan lost against Caney Valley on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Devils fell just short of the Bullpups by a score of 2-1. The Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Sedan sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 23-25, 25-10.

Sedan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Caney Valley, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Sedan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against West Elk on the 30th. As for Caney Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cunningham on the 27th.
