Basketball Recap: Goodridge/Grygla Takes a Loss

After flying high against Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] last Friday, Goodridge/Grygla came back down to earth. The Goodridge/Grygla Chargers were beaten by the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies 64-37 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Goodridge/Grygla has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goodridge/Grygla will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, they are taking a road trip to challenge Red Lake County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
