Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Lincoln

The Jefferson Cavaliers will take on the Lincoln Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Jefferson sitting on five straight victories and Lincoln on nine.

Jefferson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Sioux Falls Christian 3-2. That's two games straight that Jefferson have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Lincoln faced Brandon Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Patriots' defense stepped up to hand the Lynx an 8-0 shutout. Lincoln might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2-2.
