Basketball Recap: Glenwood City Skates Past Lake Holcombe with Ease

There's no place like home for Glenwood City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 81-53 victory over the Lake Holcombe Chieftains.

Brody Olson was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 25 points, 13 boards, and 15 assists. He is becoming a predictor of Glenwood City's success: when he posts at least eight boards the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Harrington, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Glenwood City was working as a unit and finished the game with 28 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win got Glenwood City back to even at 4-4. As for Lake Holcombe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Glenwood City will challenge Boyceville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Holcombe, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bruce at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
