Abingdon/Avon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Havana by a score of 61-53. Given the Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Ducks are ranked 154th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Wethersfield beat Illini Bluffs 37-29 on Tuesday.

Abingdon/Avon's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Wethersfield, their victory bumped their record up to 27-5.

Abingdon/Avon didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wethersfield in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win.
