Basketball Game Preview: Tocoi Creek Toros vs. Milton Panthers

Two dominant guards in King Mcfadden and Treymar Jones are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Tocoi Creek Toros will take on the Milton Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Tocoi Creek sitting on seven straight victories and Milton on six.

Tocoi Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Fletcher by a score of 67-54. Given the Toros' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Senators are ranked 125th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tocoi Creek found their leader in freshman Mcfadden, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. The game was Mcfadden's third in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Marc Mitchell, who posted 12 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Milton took on Oviedo on Wednesday. Milton sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 win over Oviedo.

Tocoi Creek's victory bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Milton, their win bumped their record up to 20-7.
