Basketball Recap: Dwight's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Gardner-South Wilmington last Tuesday, Dwight came back down to earth. The Dwight Trojans fell 69-56 to the Seneca Fighting Irish on Thursday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-40 back in January.

With the defeat, Dwight broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-12. As for Seneca, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dwight will head out to square off against Wilmington at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seneca, they will venture away from home to face off against Newark at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
