Shawnee Mission North barely beat Olathe Northwest the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Ravens on Friday. The Bison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Shawnee Mission North is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Olathe Northwest, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shawnee Mission North will challenge rival Lawrence Free State on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Olathe Northwest is set to square off against their familiar foe Mill Valley on Tuesday.
