Basketball Recap: Warwick's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Warwick can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Minisink Valley Warriors by a score of 55-45. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Warriors are ranked 751st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warwick's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Minisink Valley, their defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Warwick will venture away from home to face off against Goshen Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minisink Valley, they and Pine Bush will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
