Volleyball Recap: Mansfield Comes Up Short

Mansfield lost against Blue Eye back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-6.

Kayley Kingery paced Mansfield's offense, picking up three kills. Kingery got some help from Addie Brooke and her four assists.

Mansfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Blue Eye, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-5-3.

Mansfield has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Fordland on the 13th. As for Blue Eye, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gainesville on the 11th.
