Ridgeview Global Studies Academy won the last time they faced Discovery and things went their way on Friday too. The Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers managed a 35-31 victory over the Discovery Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Explorers.

Stephanie Morales was her usual excellent self, going 5 of 11 on her way to 15 points along with eight boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chelsse Jean-Giles, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Discovery still got an impressive performance from Ralana Spence, who posted 16 points. The dominant performance gave Spence a new career-high in points.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Discovery, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Ridgeview Global Studies Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-36 loss against Celebration on the 16th. As for Discovery, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-23 win against Legacy Charter on the 16th.
