Basketball Recap: St. Francis Has No Trouble Against Harbor

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Scotts Valley, St. Francis was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 66-50 victory over the Harbor Pirates. While the Sharks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Harbor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis will challenge Gilroy at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Harbor, they will square off against Greenfield at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Harbor likes a good challenge.
