Meanwhile, Iowa City blew past Waterloo West, posting a 78-49 win. The Little Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Iowa City's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Prairie, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 16-2.
