Football Recap: CAM Falls Short Against Ranked Exira-EHK

CAM faced Exira-EHK in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cougars fell 56-52 to the Spartans. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

CAM's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Exira-EHK, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. CAM is set to square off against their familiar foe Griswold at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Exira-EHK will face off against rival Glidden-Ralston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
