Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piper). They blew past the Turner Golden Bears 80-46 on Friday. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Golden Bears are ranked 237th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Piper pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points over those games. As for Turner, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

As of now, neither Piper nor Turner have any future games scheduled.
