Softball Recap: Alburnett Comes Up Short

Alburnett lost to Durant on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Alburnett's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Durant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alburnett will square off against Solon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Durant, they will challenge Louisa-Muscatine at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
