Volleyball Recap: Mahpiya Luta Takes a Loss

Mahpiya Luta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Douglas Patriots, falling 3-0. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-11.

Mahpiya Luta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Douglas, their win bumped their record up to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Mahpiya Luta will challenge Lead-Deadwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglas, they will face off against Sturgis Brown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
