Basketball Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

If Canton was feeling good fresh off their 59-27 takedown of Alcester-Hudson last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Canton C-Hawks received a blow on Thursday as they fell 67-48 to the Lennox Orioles. The match marked the C-Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Canton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lennox, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canton and Estelline/Hendricks will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Lennox, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
