Volleyball Recap: Amelia Academy Takes a Loss

Amelia Academy lost against Grace Christian School back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots came up short against the Kings, falling 3-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amelia Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Amelia Academy still got an impressive performance from Trista Davis, who had three digs and three aces.

Amelia Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Grace Christian School, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amelia Academy will venture away from home to take on Brunswick Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grace Christian School, they will head out to square off against Williamsburg Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
