Basketball Recap: Oak Park Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Oak Park entered their matchup against Farmington on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Oak Park Knights fell 71-58 to the Farmington Falcons. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Oak Park's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for Farmington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Park will welcome Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Oak Park surely won't give up without a fight. As for Farmington, they will host Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
