After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Asheville, Enka was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Erwin Warriors get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The result was nothing new for Enka, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Erwin with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mckayla Cox (2), Amelia Waddell, Aliyah Valle, and Ella Alexander.

Enka's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4. As for Erwin, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enka will take on West Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Enka's defense better be ready for this one: West Henderson have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Erwin, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Asheville at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
