South Newton won the last time they faced Kouts, and Briley Iseminger did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rebels walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs & Fillies on Thursday with plenty of help from Iseminger, who had 26 digs and seven assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

South Newton was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 21-25, 25-19, 25-20.

South Newton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Kouts, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

South Newton has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Rossville on the 23rd. As for Kouts, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against La Porte on the 23rd.
