Basketball Recap: Appleton East Takes a Loss

Appleton East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hortonville Polar Bears. The Patriots were probably out for revenge after losing 73-71 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Appleton East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hortonville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Appleton East and Appleton West will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hortonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
