Meanwhile, Beacon Hill came up short against San Fernando Valley Academy on Tuesday and fell 61-49. The Gryphon have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillcrest Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Beacon Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Hillcrest Christian against Beacon Hill in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 78-45 victory. In that game, Hillcrest Christian amassed a halftime lead of 39-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
