At the plate, Somerset Academy let Emily Munoz and Katie Bailey run wild. Munoz went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one double, while Bailey went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave Munoz a new career-high. Meanwhile, American Heritage came tearing into Wednesday's game with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Brahmans, sneaking past 4-2.
The team relied heavily on Mia West, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Arianna Reynolds, who earned one run and two stolen bases.
American Heritage pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
