Volleyball Recap: Ash Fork's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ash Fork had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Seligman Antelopes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-16.

Isabella Acosta paced Ash Fork's offense, picking up nine kills. Acosta got some help from Arlette Sotelo-Ayala and her 17 assists. Crystal Nixon controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Ash Fork's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Seligman, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Coming up, Ash Fork will face off against Grand Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seligman, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Rough Rock on the 16th.
