Baseball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield fell victim to Oak Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to Oak Grove. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Oak Grove this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Fairfield and nudges their season record down to 8-9. As for Oak Grove, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Coming up, Fairfield is taking a road trip to take on Indian Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Grove, they will face off against Tuscaloosa Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
