Meanwhile, Crosby-Ironton can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-44 victory over Mesabi East. The Rangers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Crosby-Ironton's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Hinckley-Finlayson was taken down by Crosby-Ironton 87-60 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024.
