Basketball Recap: Shelby Whippets vs. River Valley Vikings
Shelby was the 86-77 winner over River Valley when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Shelby Whippets were beaten by the River Valley Vikings 94-64 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Whippets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Vikings are ranked 35th).
River Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Snyder, who went 10 of 14 en route to 23 points and eight rebounds.
