Basketball Recap: Lyman Takes a Loss

Lyman and Wall squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lyman had to settle for second. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Raiders have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Wall found their leader in sophomore Teelan Kjerstad, who posted 22 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmet Dinger, who earned 17 points.

Lyman's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Wall, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Lyman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-46 loss against Aberdeen Christian on the 22nd. As for Wall, they have also already played their next contest, a 79-67 win against Freeman on the 22nd.
