It's playoff time, and Torres had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Riverdale Cowboys get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Tuesday. The Toros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by eight runs or more this season.

Tatiana Bermudez Maciel was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. J'lynn Mitchell was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple.

Torres always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

The victory got Torres back to even at 13-13. As for Riverdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Torres is taking a road trip to face off against Kern Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Toros' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncs have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. Riverdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
