Football Game Preview: West Branch Bears vs. Wilton Beavers

West Branch has won four straight games at home, while Wilton has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Bears will welcome the Beavers.

West Branch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Denver by a score of 22-15.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilton). They blew past Dike-New Hartford, posting a 50-14 victory. Considering the Beavers have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

West Branch's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wilton, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-2.

West Branch ended up a good deal behind Wilton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, losing 39-20. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
