            Volleyball Recap: Brandeis Broncos vs. Reagan Rattlers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against SA Roosevelt  on Friday, Brandeis came back down to earth. The Broncos fell just short of the Reagan Rattlers by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. The Broncos were not able to make up for their  loss to the Rattlers from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 Brandeis took Reagan into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-13, 24-26, 25-20,  16-14.
 Cecily Alva paced Brandeis' offense, picking up 19 kills. Alva got some help from  Samantha Blazquez and her 44 assists. Finally,  Tessa Fontenot kept Brandeis' defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
Brandeis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-22. As for Reagan, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 23-12.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. Brandeis will venture away from home to  square off against LEE  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Reagan, they will head out to  take on SA Roosevelt  at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. The Rattlers are facing the Rough Riders at the right time seeing as the Rough Riders are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
