The West Rebels will challenge the Bearden Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
West barely beat Hardin Valley Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 13-6 victory on Monday. The Rebels have beaten the Hawks the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hawks has come to flipping the script.

Brooke Weaver spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Claire Davenport and Brooklyn Burnett did most of the damage at the plate: Davenport went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Burnett went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Davenport has posted over her last 11 matchups. Mia Beeler was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. They are 7-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Bearden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Hardin Valley Academy.
West's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Bearden, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.
West's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Rebels have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Bearden, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will West continue to outrun the ball?
West beat Bearden 6-1 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
