Football Recap: Taylorville Comes Up Short

Taylorville and Rochester squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Taylorville had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Rockets 56-7. The contest marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Rochester's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tanner Beal led the charge by throwing for 65 yards and two TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground. Another receiver making a difference was Nate Swaney, who picked up 75 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
