Football Recap: Green Mountain Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Green Mountain fell victim to Corona del Mar and their airtight defense on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 55-0 to the Sea Kings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Leading Corona del Mar to victory were Brady Annett and Trejan Nixon. Annett threw for 208 yards and four TDs while completing 86.7% of his passes, while Nixon rushed for 115 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 58 yards. Garrett James also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Green Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Corona del Mar, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Green Mountain has already played their next game, a 49-6 loss against Pomona on the 12th. As for Corona del Mar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 28-21 win against Charter Oak on the 12th.
