Carmel Christian lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Charlotte Country Day School, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Carmel Christian Cougars were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Carmel Christian got a great performance from Colson Krause as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Leyton Guhl, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of David Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Carmel Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Charlotte Country Day School, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Carmel Christian Cougars face off against Asheville Christian Academy Lions at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Asheville Christian Academy will need to watch out since Carmel Christian has now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Charlotte Country Day School, they will square off against West Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
