Michigan Lutheran Seminary won against Carrollton  on Tuesday with 14  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Friday. The Cardinals blew past the Valley Lutheran Chargers 14-4. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six  runs or more this season.
 Ally Coffey made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out 17 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   two  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  triples, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Charli Alcorn, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. That  home run marked the first that  she has  launched this season. Another player making a difference was  Kerin Gardner, who  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Michigan Lutheran Seminary  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 19  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  contests.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary's record now sits at 9-2. As for Valley Lutheran,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-7.
